Robert S. Dolansky Jr., DO, MBA, FACOFP, is the chief of urgent care and occupational medicine at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He has been a trustee of the American Osteopathic Association since 2018.

A native of Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania, Dr. Dolansky began his career by receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University. He also received an MBA in medical management from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Dr. Dolansky received his osteopathic medical degree (DO) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed his osteopathic internship at the Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center and his osteopathic family medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital – Allentown Campus.

Dr. Dolansky is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). He has been a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) since 1996 and became a fellow in 2003.

Early in his medical career, Dr. Dolansky served as a faculty member for the osteopathic internship and family medicine residency programs at St. Luke’s before quickly moving up to program director, and subsequently to network director of osteopathic medical education for the St. Luke’s network. In 2013, he made the transition to medical director of the St. Luke’s Care Now urgent care centers. Dr. Dolansky was instrumental in growing the service from two locations to more than 25 centers throughout eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey. His success in this endeavor earned him the position of chief of urgent care and occupational medicine in 2022.

A member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), Dr. Dolansky served as president for the 2014-2015 term. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physician Society (POFPS). Dr. Dolansky has a long-standing role as a Pennsylvania delegate to the AOA House of Delegates and the ACOFP Congress of Delegates since 1999.
