Recognizing graduates of residency programs with Osteopathic Recognition
Celebrating excellence in osteopathic medicine and commitment to incorporating osteopathic principles and practice into patient care.
The AOA Distinction of Advanced Osteopathic Training is a new recognition honoring physicians who graduate from a program with ACGME Osteopathic Recognition. This distinction recognizes physician’s excellence in osteopathic medicine and their commitment to incorporating Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) into patient care.
The Distinction of Advanced Osteopathic Training is exclusively and only available to the designated osteopathic residents and fellows who complete the educational requirements of Osteopathic Recognition as verified by their program’s Director of Osteopathic Education.
So far, the AOA has conferred the Distinction of Advanced Osteopathic Training to over 3,000 individuals!
