Seminar explores social medicine in a global context

Osteopathic medical students and residents are invited to enter the 20th Annual BIOM competition on global health research, outreach, and narrative medicine.

The American Osteopathic Association’s Bureau of International Osteopathic Medicine (BIOM) will present its 20th Annual International Seminar, “Social Medicine and the Ethics of Providing Health Care in the Global Context,” during OMED 2018.

When: Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018
Where: San Diego

Michelle Morse, MD, and Zadock Sacks, MD, co-founding directors of EqualHealth, will present the keynote address about social medicine. The program also will include a panel discussion on social medicine, ethics and providing care in a global context. Here’s the full schedule:
