Complete information will be provided to participants prior to the activity. Conflict of Interest Disclosures for individuals in control of content will be provided prior to the start of the activity.

Overall Educational Objectives

  1. Explain at least one complex legislative issue (i.e. surprise billing, prior authorization, etc.) and potential solutions.
  2. Describe effective strategies for communicating with lawmakers and how grassroots/social media can be used to influence legislative outcomes.
  3. Summarize recent legislative, regulatory and/or payment updates and how they could impact the practice of osteopathic medicine.
