The American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians is opening up new pathways and options for certification, including an Early Entry Certification program for residents.
The American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine launched a new certificate in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, which will recognize the distinct and critical knowledge, skills, abilities and judgments that practicing physicians require in this specialty.
A large-scale national survey is now underway to gather data on how DOs currently employ osteopathic medicine and its principles in clinical practice. Certifying Board Services encourages all certification board members and diplomates to participate.
