The AOA VOICES Subgroup developed these Leadership Pathways to help students, residents and physicians intentionally explore, build and advance their leadership skills throughout their training journey. Whether you are just beginning to discover your leadership style or seeking opportunities to expand your impact, these pathways provide a structured framework to identify experiences, resources and developmental opportunities aligned with your interests and career goals.
The pathways are designed to make leadership development more accessible, transparent and achievable by highlighting opportunities for growth across a variety of domains. Use them as a guide to chart your own leadership journey, connect with mentors and experiences, and cultivate the skills needed to lead effectively in healthcare and beyond.
