Shannon C. Scott, DO, FACOFP, of Scottsdale, Arizona is an AOA board-certified osteopathic family physician. She serves as an Assistant Dean and Clinical Professor at the Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (MWU/AZCOM) in Glendale. She is currently the Medical Director of the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic (MSC) in Glendale.

Previously Dr. Scott served on the AOA Board of Trustees as its first New Physician in Practice board member. An avid supporter of the osteopathic medical profession, Dr. Scott is past president of the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association and a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

Upon receiving her degree in osteopathic medicine from MWU/AZCOM in 2004, Dr. Scott completed postdoctoral training at what is now the Honor Health Scottsdale (Arizona) Medical Center where she was awarded the Outstanding Intern of the Year Award in 2005. She also received the Brazie Award in 2006 from the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians for her achievements and dedication in her postdoctoral training.

She completed the Ohio Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Health Policy Fellowship. She is the recipient of the 2019 Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association Physician of the Year Award, the 2018 Midwestern University Littlejohn Award, the 2017 National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, Level 2 CE Item Writer of the Year Award, and the 2016 Student Association of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Advisor of the Year Award. She currently practices osteopathic family medicine in Glendale, Arizona at the MSC offering care for the whole family.
