Robert W. Hostoffer, DO, is AOA board-certified in osteopathic allergy and immunology, as well as pediatrics, and currently practices at Allergy/Immunology Associates in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. He is also the program director of the allergy/immunology fellowship, which achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), as well as Osteopathic Recognition. He holds academic appointments as a clinical professor at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio, and as an associate professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

A prolific author and presenter in the medical community, Dr. Hostoffer has contributed to more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, 14 book chapters, 160 abstracts/posters and has given nearly 300 presentations. His extensive research and contributions continue to advance the field of allergy, immunology and pediatric medicine. He has also served as the past president of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians and the Ohio Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Hostoffer earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency training at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He completed a fellowship in pediatric immunology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also earned a master’s degree in medical education from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and an MBA from St. Joseph University in Philadelphia.
