If you’re like me, the thought of tackling student loans and loan repayment is a waking nightmare. There are too many details and possibilities to be explored and, like a deer in the headlights, freezing seems like an acceptable option at times.

Thankfully, many other folks have gone through this process before, and we don’t have to figure it out on our own. The AOA has compiled some excellent resources that can help you worry less and pay your loans off sooner.

The AOA Resident Member Value Program features a Resident Financial Checklist that outlines a 5-step plan to achieving financial freedom. It’s probably all things you’ve heard other people talk about, Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), Income Driven Repayment Plans Etc. Having it outlined and talking with an expert like the folks at Doctors without Quarters or SoFi can reduce the activation energy needed to get that student loan problem solved.

If you only do one “adulting” thing today, make it a good one and check out this tool.
