Pediatric Manual Medicine

Pediatric Manual Medicine is a combination of didactic, lectures and “hands-on” experience. Goals of the course are to disseminate the rationale and indications of treating common clinical problems in pediatrics using manual medicine and to disseminate the rationale and indications of treating developmental delays using physical therapy and manual therapy.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to 1) develop the knowledge and palpatory skill necessary to diagnose somatic dysfunction in pediatric patients with symptoms consistent with asthma, latching issues, otitis media, developmental delay, GERD/Colic, torticollis and plagiocephaly.
