Osteopathic treatment of concussions has not been well-defined, documented or taught, but there is a great need for same. This course is an early effort to teach osteopathic palpatory diagnosis and treatment of mTBI. This is an advanced course requiring a prerequisite of at least two OCA-qualified introductory courses in osteopathy in the cranial field, plus five years of clinical practice in OMM. This course is a minimal but essential approach to treatment of mTBI. We are combining what the co-directors presently use in their respective practices for mTBI patients.
