ENT for the Primary Care Practitioner: Promoting Performance Change in Clinical Practice

Many common ENT conditions can be managed at the primary health care level with the potential for decreasing financial burden and reducing referrals as well as improving quality and timeliness of care. Using demonstrations, realistic learning experiences and hands-on skill building techniques, this workshop will provide:

  • An appreciation of allergy testing
  • Protocols for evaluating hearing loss and dizziness
  • Relevant osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT)
  • Training for in-office flexible nasolaryngoscopy.

After completing the requirements, attendees will obtain both a continuing medical education certificate and the certificate of proficiency in flexible nasolaryngoscopy.
