End-of-Life Care & Palliative Medicine in America Series:

End-of-Life Care & Palliative Medicine in America offers a three-package series released between Oct. 2023 and April 2024 that aim to equip the learner to:

  • Acquire the knowledge of primary palliative care (PPC), including end-of-life care (EOL)
  • Identify and develop the PPC and EOL skills needed within their own practice
  • Articulate the value to PPC and EOL in modern health care

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Distinguish between PPC and sub-specialty palliative care
  • Describe the various levels of hospice care in the U.S. health care system
  • Apply a framework of prognostication and decision making to support goals of care conversations
