2019 SCOMS Winter CME Conference

The South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society’s Winter CME Conference is designed to update primary care physicians on current information regarding important medical topics and rapidly changing therapeutic areas. The emphasis of this program is on practical and useful information for a clinical practice.

Following the conference, attendees will be able to:

Discuss the clinical presentation of common disorders seen in primary care; utilize current advances in the diagnosis and treatment of these common problems; identify highly relevant medical findings that may change how a primary care physician currently practices; implement a variety of common clinical scenarios into their medical practice.

The South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society (SCOMS) is recognized as an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Category 1 CME Sponsor by the AOA Council on Continuing Medical Education (CCME). SCOMS anticipates being approved for 12 hours of AOA Category 1-A CME credit for this program pending approval by the AOA CCME. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she spent in the educational activity.
