AOA takes action to prevent physician payment cuts

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released its 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and Quality Payment Program Final Rule, which outlines the latest updates on physician payment policies. The AOA’s Public Policy team has published a summary of the new rule, which includes a proposed 3.37% reduction in Medicare physician payment rates.
