  • Outline Therapy for hyperkalemia including indications for hospital admission and inpatient treatment.
  • Describe initial appropriate testing for outpatients with new onset atrial fibrillation.
  • Review the new oral anticoagulants comparing their efficacy to warfarin.
  • Describe updated indications for antibiotics commonly used in the outpatient setting.
