Head to Toe MRI

On-Demand

This on-demand course is intended for practicing radiologists and radiology trainees as it will cover a wide range of MRI focused topics common to most current diagnostic radiology practices, as well as introducing new/emerging MRI applications. It is organized in focused sessions with specific days dedicated to neuroimaging, musculoskeletal imaging and body imaging. Some sessions will include discussion on MRI safety.

Objectives:

Discuss the differential diagnosis of the MRI appearance of common disease processes with appropriate imaging and clinical follow up recommendations.
Describe the role of new MRI techniques/applications in diagnostic radiology.
Prescribe the appropriate utilization of MRI for different medical conditions.
Explain how to maintain MRI safety, causes of potential safety events and other selective noninterpretive skills.
Refine imaging criteria to optimize image quality/findings and improve diagnostic interpretation.
