The AOA is now accepting applications for volunteer roles on its Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Editorial Panel and Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) advisory teams. Advisors, appointed by the AOA President, will serve a two-year term from 2026 to 2028.
These advisors play a vital role in representing the osteopathic profession in national discussions on coding and physician payment policy. Both committees include representatives from more than 100 medical specialty societies that help shape how care is described and valued across the U.S. healthcare system.
