Ultrasound Mini-Course

This ultrasound mini-course is intended for practicing radiologists and radiology trainees to cover a range of important ultrasound topics. Topics will include: Ultrasound guided MSK procedures, pelvic ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, liver and kidney transplant ultrasound, pediatric ultrasound and vascular ultrasound. Lectures will be provided by a distinguished group of faculty with a wealth of experience, each covering key imaging findings and/or ultrasound techniques valuable for all radiologists to know. The goal is to provide participants with more in-depth knowledge of multiple relevant topics within the subspecialty of ultrasound.

Objectives:

  • Describe the applications of ultrasound guided musculoskeletal procedures.
  • Identify and apply updated O-RADS for ultrasound adnexal lesion assessment.
  • Identify and apply TI-RADS criteria for ultrasound thyroid nodule assessment.
  • Describe normal and pathologic ultrasound imaging findings for liver and kidney transplants.
  • Describe and apply what the pediatric radiologist wants you to know about pediatric ultrasound.
  • Refresh your vascular ultrasound knowledge.
