NCS-ACOFP 2026 Winter Conference

The Winter CME Conference is returning to its original location at Campbell University – Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM). The one-day CME conference will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, and will focus on Managing Mental Health in Primary Care.

This continuing medical education program is designed to support primary care physicians in their role in addressing patient’s mental health needs in clinical practice. The program will emphasize practical, evidence-based strategies for recognizing, managing and supporting individuals with a broad range of mental health conditions within the primary care setting.

Topics will include the integration of lifestyle medicine techniques to support mental health, best practices for managing benzodiazepine tapers, and approaches to addressing pediatric and adolescent depression and suicide. Additional sessions will explore the complex relationship between mood disorders and chronic pain, strategies for managing treatment-resistant depression and the principles of applying trauma-informed care. The program will also examine the impact of screen time and technology use on pediatric and adolescent mental health.
