AOCR Breast Imaging Essentials Mini-Course: From Diagnosis to Decision-Making

This online mini-course provides a focused overview of key topics in breast imaging, integrating clinical practice, regulatory requirements and evolving technologies. Through a series of lectures led by expert faculty, participants will gain knowledge and skills relevant to daily breast imaging practice. Clinical topics include current applications of breast MRI, role of breast ultrasound in screening and diagnosis, practical considerations in the interpretation and management of BI-RADS 3, and tomosynthesis/stereotactic biopsy. Additional sessions explore correlation of imaging findings with breast cancer biology, reviewing ACR accreditation and the EQUIP program and imaging informatics in breast imaging.
