AAO Pre-Convocation 2026 – Sequencing: Advanced

March 15, 2026 - March 17, 2026

Building on the basic principles and how they apply to the body covered in the introductory sequencing course, this advanced course will empower the student to diagnose more with confidence.

We will cover how to sequence a patient in a hospital bed (which also covers nursing home and acute rehab patients); go deeper into assessing the upper and lower extremities and address how to sequence hand and foot dysfunction for treatment; dive farther into the axial skeleton and its diagnostic complexities; learn how to identify the emotional layer of the body and how and when (and when not to) incorporate emotional treatment; explore how visceral diagnosis fits into sequencing; and explore how the cranium and its various disposes fit into the sequencing paradigm.

This course is the next step toward mastery of the sequencing paradigm.
