The AOA is offering the following COVID-19-related webinars, continuing with Wednesday night’s on maintaining practice security and staff safety during the pandemic. Learn more below and be sure to register for CME on AOA Online Learning.

Aug. 12: Practice Security & Staff Safety

Health care safety, security, and risk management expert Steve Wilder will walk you through how to survive any potential dangerous scenarios that you might encounter in your practice. This training, held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 12, will provide you with the ability to better protect yourself, your staff, your patients, and your practice.

Aug. 13: Practice Re-opening Strategies

This webinar, held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 13, will explore some of the policies and procedures which practices should be developing or have in place to comply with state, federal and medical society guidance. It will also explore some of the liability issues which practices might face for failure to comply and steps to assure compliance and minimize risk. In addition, this presentation will also cover some of the financial challenges practices have faced as a result of COVID-19 and address steps, including telemedicine, that should be considered to increase revenue, lower costs and fiscally prosper.
