In December 2025, Leapfrog released its lists of the country’s top hospitals of the year. Leapfrog recognized all teaching, general, rural and children’s hospitals that meet the high standards defined in the organization’s Top Hospital Methodology. The organization evaluated what systems are in place at each hospital to prevent medication errors, infection rates and surgical safety, among other factors.
