With each newsletter, we will highlight one of the members representing you on the AOA’s Bureau of Emerging Leaders! This edition: Daniel Krajcik, DO.

Dr. Krajcik is one of the New Physician in Practice members of the BEL (AOA members within their first five years after completing training are eligible to serve). For the past three years, he has practiced family medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, where he coordinates osteopathic and business curricula as a member of the family practice residency faculty. His role as an educator extends to acting as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at both Case Western Reserve University and Ohio University-Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM).

Daniel graduated with a dual DO/MBA from OU-HCOM, where he became involved with the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents (COSGP). He served as Chair of COSGP during his final year of medical school. Dr. Krajcik has continued serving the profession as a member of the BEL since 2022, leading the Resolutions Workgroup to develop AOA policy for the benefit of students, residents, fellows and newly practicing DOs.

Dr. Krajcik loves his teaching work with students and residents, and particularly enjoys helping learners develop their OMT skills. When not working and teaching, he unwinds with volleyball, CrossFit and hiking with his dog, Luna!
