Ryan Williamson is a current OMS-III at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) serving as the AOA Board of Trustees Student Delegate. In this role Student, Doctor Williamson provides a vote on behalf of osteopathic students across the country to ensure their voice is heard by our AOA Executive Board.

Student Doctor Williamson is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He graduated from Gordon College just outside of Boston, Massachusetts in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. He obtained his Master’s of Biomedical Science from the University of Northern Colorado in 2018 then matriculated into the LUCOM Class of 2023 on a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force where he currently serves as a Second Lieutenant.

Prior to serving in this role, Student Doctor Williamson served as class president during his first year of medical school and Student Government President during his second year. Prior to medical school, he worked as a personal trainer, medical scribe, and Associate Regional Manager for a large medical scribe company.

Student Doctor Williamson is passionate about medical education, healthcare policy, and developing strategies to improve healthcare delivery to underserved areas. Outside of school, he enjoys exercise, playing sports, and cooking.
