The Many Facets of Visceral Treatment

April 17, 2020 - April 20, 2020

This course will explore the anatomy, embryology, and functional movements of the abdominal viscera. It will explore visceral diagnosis and treatment from these various perspectives: biomechanical—relying on the gross anatomical relationships, biofunctional—relying on the various physiologic motilities, and biodynamic—relying on inherent motion and healing forces.

This course will cover many intermediate and advanced topics. However, it is an introduction to these topics. Participants would best be served with experience with the cranial concept. Any experience with the Biodynamic Approach to Osteopathy, and any experience with diagnosing and treating viscera would be a plus.
