Researchers at Columbia University recently studied levels of stress, anxiety and depression among clinicians during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study showed all providers who participated attributed an increased sense of meaning and purpose to their work during the same period. Other key findings included nearly half of all participants screening positive for depressive symptoms.
