COVID-19 Care: Avoid Burnout and Build Resilience

August 11, 2020

Researchers at Columbia University recently studied levels of stress, anxiety and depression among clinicians during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study showed all providers who participated attributed an increased sense of meaning and purpose to their work during the same period. Other key findings included nearly half of all participants screening positive for depressive symptoms.

Join Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, MD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Medical Education, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and hear how to move beyond the prevention of burnout, and instead systemically cultivate human thriving and connection in ways that promote resilience, well-being, and joy for all health care team members.
