The Addiction Medicine Self-Study Course consists of 17 lectures focused on topics including:

  • Opioid treatment programs in the era of COVID
  • Emerging substances of abuse
  • Neurobiology of addiction
  • Addiction treatment in rural settings
  • Evidence-based indications of CBD and medical marijuana

Participants may opt to receive course materials via a digital format (streaming video, downloadable video and downloadable MP3s), a physical format (shipped USB drive containing all course audio and video), or a combination of both. Physicians who complete the entire course will earn up to 15 AOA Category 1A credits or AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
