The 47th Annual Conference of the American Osteopathic Society of Rheumatologic Diseases

The 47th Annual Conference of the American Osteopathic Society of Rheumatologic Diseases is designed for practicing physicians, students, nurse practitioners, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and physician assistants interested in autoimmune and rheumatic disease issues as well as integrative, holistic and osteopathic medicine. The conference also explores the latest research in lipidology, and new concepts in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury.

Keynote speakers Jon Marsh, DO, and Gretchen Marsh, DO, will discuss colonic inertia and new technologies for infertility; keynote speaker A.J. Farschian, MD, president of the American Association of Stem Cell Physicians, will give an overview of mesenchemal stem cells from clinical trial to practical application; and Dan Royal, DO, will discuss Native American and innovations in medical therapy.

This conference also will offer state licensing board required courses, including:

  • Physician opiate use guidelines
  • Opiate addiction
  • Suicide guidelines
  • Physician ethics
