Airway Simulation – Hands-on Training

In this Airway Simulation training, attendees will begin by gaining foundational knowledge of evaluating an airway and then progress to hands-on training utilizing rescue devices and techniques. This training will allow the attendee to be better equipped to manage patients with this critical need.

Educational Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding of how to evaluate the airway
  • Review predictors of difficult intubation
  • When to RSI
  • Pharmacology of RSI
  • Pediatric Issues
  • Surgical airway review
  • Overview of rescue devices and techniques
  • Non-invasive adjuncts
