The 2019 Annual Business Meeting and House of Delegates (HOD) of the AOA will be held Monday, July 22, through Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel.
The AOA Board of Trustees (BOT) will convene for its annual business meeting the week of July 22, 2019.
Written reports and any other items of business for the BOT annual business meeting may be received at any time, but no later than Monday, July 1, 2019, to be included in the online posting of materials. All reports and items of business must be submitted electronically to cbaggett@osteopathic.org.
The BOT meeting agenda and all other meeting related information will be available on the AOA Annual Business Meeting page at least 10 business days prior to the start of the meeting.
The House of Delegates (HOD) Committee on Credentials will begin registering delegates and alternate delegates the afternoon of Thursday, July 25, and the morning of Friday, July 26. The AOA HOD will convene its annual business meeting Friday, July 26, and conclude its sessions Sunday, July 28.
Reports, resolutions, and any other items of business for the HOD meeting may be received at any time, but no later than Friday, May 24, to be included in the initial online posting of materials. All reports, resolutions, and items of business must be submitted electronically to cbaggett@osteopathic.org.
Note: Resolutions received after Wednesday, June 26, 2019, will be considered late and must include an explanation of good cause for the delay. The HOD Rules & Order of Business Reference Committee will determine whether the resolution will be considered by the 2019 HOD or deferred until the next HOD meeting (2020).
The House of Delegates meeting agenda and all meeting related materials will be posted to the AOA Annual Business Meeting page as it becomes available but no less than 30 days prior to the start of the HOD Meeting. Hotel and air travel information also is available on this page.
The executive director of each AOA affiliate state osteopathic medical association, the executive director of each AOA recognized affiliate osteopathic specialty college, the chair of the Bureau of Emerging Leaders, and the chief administrative officer of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association must certify the names of their delegates and alternate delegates to the AOA’s Chief Executive Officer at least 30 days prior to the House of Delegates’ meeting.
